Hurricane Sandy Aid: Local 101 Gives $2000 to Every Affected Union Member

Message to members from the Executive Board: President Mike Conigliaro and Financial Secretary-Treasurer Josephine Arroyo discuss Hurricane Sandy and the effects that it had on members and the Union as a whole. Among other services the Union has provided, Local 101 gave $2K cash to each member who sustained significant property damage during Hurricane Sandy. 


Local 101's Charity Fund for Families of Deceased Members

The Charity Golf Classic annual outing is a way in which our Union raises money through member contributions to support the families of deceased members. The event is held yearly in the spring and donations are solicited through September, when the Union gives all money raised to the deserving families of our Brothers and Sisters in the Union.

TWU Local 101's ninth annual Charity Golf Outing raised $20K in member donations for the families of our deceased members. At our General Membership Meeting on Sept. 20, 2012, Local 101 President Mike Conigliaro presented Ms. Angela Downing, widow of TWU member and Customer Meter Service employee Andrew Downing with a check for $10K cash.
